Efficient Handoff using Mobile IP and Simplified Cellular IP

چکیده

Integration of wireless LAN and cellular network will possibly bring ubiquitous internet access. This study states several problems of currently suggested integration techniques and provides proposals to overcome these shortcomings. A current cellular IP will be simplified to improve the handoff performance which will be integrated with mobile IP. The simulator has been developed instead of a test-bed and the test result will be compared with the previous studies. Also, well-known simulator such as NS-2 will be used for comparison.
